Collecting Personal Information

Honey and June will only collect personally identifiable information (such as name, title, company name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) that you voluntarily provide through the Services. Honey and June also requests and collects personal information from our customers at various site locations and instances, including, but not limited to, when you make a purchase, communicate with us via social media, write a product review, participate in events, contests, or promotions, contact our customer care team, post other customer-generated content to the Site, or otherwise engage with us through the Services. Order information

Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, Paypal information, email address, and phone number.

If you provide a credit card number, debit card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials, that information is processed by our third-party payment processor. Honey and June does not receive access to that information; however, our payment processor retains that information in accordance with its own privacy policy in order to allow us to process payments or issue refunds if necessary. If you provide us with credit card information over the phone or verbally in person, the credit card information may be processed through our online payment processor.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address above to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

Honey and June offers various products and services to our customers and also strives to meet the needs of our customers. To do this effectively, we must collect certain personal information. We will use the information we collect from you in order to provide the products and services you have ordered and requested. Additionally, we use your personal information for internal purposes such as tracking your order, analyzing your preferences, and noting trends and statistics. We also use your personal information to make you aware of new products and services we provide. The information we collect may be used for different purposes as we continue to expand our service offerings. We DO NOT engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Temporary blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This blacklist persists for a small number of hours.
Temporary blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses. This blacklist persists for a small number of days.

Honey and June also tracks information that is about you but does not personally identify you. Our host web server tracks and collects non-personally identifiable information about the visits to our Site through automatic tracking technology, including cookies, or bits of data that store small amounts of data about your visit to our Site on your computer.
